Testing

Near Empty Airport Terminal

The bus ride to the airport was uneventful, which was good. There were essentially no tourists on board. The ride consumed an hour of time. The only real interesting aspect was the observation that a large number of businesses along Nimitz Highway were shuttered.

The airport itself was fairly empty. The “super-duper corona” testing center was located on the ground level, way at the end of international terminal. The visible line was fairly long. After about 15 minutes, a guy came around asking if anyone was over 60 years of age and to follow him if that was the case. He clarified that he wasn’t working there, but one of the employees had asked him to round up the senior citizens.

Waiting Line For Testing

Only two people followed him. Upon walking past a concrete wall, the one line proved to be extremely long, obviously all people under 60 years. Turns out, there were actually three lines, one for senior citizens. There was no one in the geriatric line.

Testing Stations

After checking in, there were four lines for each of the testing stations. The process only took a couple of minutes. A long swab was inserted into each nostril of the nose and swirled around. Then, the swab was put into a vial. The results would then be available by e-mail within 4 to 6 hours.

The airport had free wireless access, which was nice. There was seating in the outdoor area on the second level. So, the wait for the arrival of the next bus was relaxing.

The route back to town passed through Chinatown. There was graffiti everywhere. Many businesses were shuttered. However, even existing businesses suffered from defaced storefronts.

After alighting in town, a belated cup of coffee was procured from the fast food joint. Then, coffee time was enjoyed at Tamarind Park. The test results actually were ready by 11am. Thus, entrance to the gym was facilitated. The plans now call for two antigen tests per week. Each test should cover three days at the gym (as well as entrance into the Makai Market food court). So, Sunday will be a day off from working out at the gym. Three to six days per week is enough for a maintenance workout.

Most of the usual people were at the gym. So, the assumption is that they are all “vaccinated.” Most of the young hotties at the gym are students at the Diploma Mill. Students who are not “vaccinated” get tested three times per week on-campus, so they can easily enter the gym anytime. So, most likely, they are “unvaccinated.” Why would young people subject themselves to a medical health hazard?

Addendum: Several hundred people marched through town in protest of the “vaccine” and “passport” mandates issued by both the governor of Hawai’i and the turncoat mayor of Honolulu. There was absolutely no coverage by the local “fake news” media.

Update: “Joe Headroom” is expected to announce an interstate travel ban for the “unvaccinated” sometime this week. And, the geriatric putz has yet to publicly state that all members of Congress and their staff are exempt from the mandates (as are US Postal Service employees). Now everyone can understand why their representatives have done so little to stop the Fascists.
