Onion

These are very tragic and depressing times, especially for an old codger. Installing third-party “apps” on the iPhone was forbidden until yesterday. The Onion Browser was installed in order to access “onion” sites, specifically the Daily Stormer. That action seems like a lot of trouble and a breach of integrity, eh?

Well, yes and no. The Daily Stormer site has been discussed in Notes previously, so there’s no need to rehash the details. The issue is mass censorship, and the latter problem afflicts the entire “West.” Ever since the “super-duper corona” plan-demic, the only allowed discourse is the single “approved” narrative. Any deviation has been combatted with extreme censorship. So what happened to the Daily Stormer is probably a precursor for many other entities not “toeing the line.”

Enter Tor and the Onion Browser. Preparations are being made to insure that sources of other narratives, perhaps the truth, will be readily available. Otherwise, there is no personal interest in the “Dark Web.” Any other “onion” sites of interest will be listed in Notes.

Personal sitrep remains the same. Of course, there’s no telling what will transpire if the dystopian predictions of the knowledgeable opposition come to fruition. All hell could break loose.

Addendum: People who opt to use Tor for browsing should be aware that ISPs could report such activity as possibly being illegal or of a “terrorist” nature.

Miscellany: A request for Aunty Lyn’s death certificate was submitted earlier this week to the appropriate government agency in Cali along with the required $24 fee. If the Social Security number is redacted, then another request must be submitted to that agency with $42 fee. Overall, a long and costly process.
