The recent theme of Notes is … “everything is coming apart at the seams.” There’s just no end to the Fascist “clusterfuck.” And, what better time for such nonsense than in the “twilight years”? Sheesh!

The only optimistic note to the personal financial crisis is that rising interest rates has increased dividends in the investment accounts. Last month yielded about $600 in dividends. Certainly, the latter helps to offset the on-going financial hemorrhaging.

The new iPhone 14 was introduced today, nothing noteworthy since the replacement of the iPhone 12 has been suspended indefinitely. Of interest, though, is the iPhone transition towards eSIM exclusivity. For subscribers of Visible, that move will be a nightmare. The sub-Reddit for Visible is filled with horror stories concerning the pSIM to eSIM migration failures as it is. Short of a new account, the transfer of eSIM to a new cellphone is going to be a “clusterfuck.”

Finally, Maka’s passing was confirmed through a very reliable source at the gym. No details about the cause of death were presented, but the passing occurred last week. May he rest in peace.

Miscellany: A tube of benzoyl peroxide cream was purchased using the OTC card. A futile attempt is being made to reduce the ingrown hair cyst in the chest area, the one that has been there for decades. In the end, surgical removal will be the only option.
