Chronic 2025

Chronic

Last night, the left hand gradually produced pain to the point of being intolerable within a few hours. Sleep was obviously impossible. The prognosis is most likely a sprained hand. There have been many previous occurrences of a sprained thumb, the most likely culprit being the weight workout at the gym. Never has the entire hand been sprained. Sheesh!

The only other possibility was an early morning fall while attempting to put on shorts in the mausoleum at the “old folks home” in Waikiki. Rapid reflex enabled a “soft landing,” supposedly, as there was no pain. The workout at the gym was executed flawlessly with no pain. Breaking the fall with the left hand (the right hand was entangled in the shorts) may have caused torn ligaments, which only became pronounced later in the day. Today, the gym workout was modified to cut off anytime moderate (six on a ten scale) pain was felt.

Knee effusion (i.e., “water on the knee”) still comes and goes. Leg exercises at the gym continue to be curtailed. And, an SVT event followed a greasy hamburger dinner at the other fast food joint on Monday last week. The prognosis is still leaning toward dehydration. Oh, the joys of old age!

Well, Easy Decision Maker is now officially recognized as the solution provider to most personal decisions, ones that have no bias toward any particular option. It’s fast, obviously affordable, and no AI bullshit is involved. Baha! Ha! Ha! Haaa!
