What is to be made of the latest UFO bullshit? That’s a good question. First, the issue of extraterrestrial life was discussed in the legacy “blog,” the time period when reading books … lots of books … and research were priorities. Quantum physics cosmology, and religion were the subjects of interest at that moment.
In summary, the laws of of physics apply throughout the universe. There are no differing laws in some remote area because the entire universe, which is finite, expanded from a very tiny point source. Atoms in one part of the universe are the same anywhere else. All of the elements are the same.
Can there be life elsewhere in the universe? Sure. And, there is much certainty that natural life elsewhere will exist under the exact conditions of earth and that all such life would closely resemble life on earth. There may be some temptation to believe that life could exist under different conditions, but that must be put to rest. For example, could complex biological lifeforms exist in an atmosphere of, say, methane gas instead of oxygen? Understanding biological respiratory cycles would nullify such a nonsensical thesis.
And, what about UFOs and other phenomena? Well, first off, any biological being would not survive long enough to travel from some distant planet. Traveling at any speed under that of light itself is futile. Yet, approaching or achieving the speed of light would be fatal to biological species. Recall that mass converts directly to energy at the speed of light (E=mc2).
Can there be a species of life that is impervious to a mass-energy transformation? That may be mathematically and statistically possible, but highly improbable unless such a species was dimension-less or existing in dimensions beyond the three perceived by humans. However, if such a creature existed, it would not need a “flying saucer” to travel to earth.
In conclusion, the UFO bullshit is some kind of diversion. There is something going on behind the scenes, with everyone’s favorite ruling élite up to no good again. What are they up to?
