| A Memorable Moment in Time |
On December 14th in the 2008 year, the heroic journalist, Mundtadar al-Zaidi, threw his shoes at Bush Jr. (aka “Shrub”) to protest the illegal invasion of Iraq. Praise Molech!
The referral to the cardiologist came through last week. A text message was received to set up an appointment. So, on Monday, an appointment was scheduled for the morning of December 29th. However, the formal annual physical examination at the Ohua Clinic is scheduled for the morning of January 6th. Thus, the cardiologist appointment will probably be rescheduled. The annual physical examination may provide more contextual medical data prior to seeing the cardiologist.
The referral for stress management counseling was resubmitted by request since no contact was made. An appointment with a psychologist is set for the afternoon of March 11th, a bit far off. Apparently the mental health staff is in demand. In the meantime, personal research on stress management will continue.
The situation with the heart palpitations has been aggressively monitored. From, all indications, poor quality of sleep is the main culprit. The Sleep “app” algorithm on the Watch Series 9 appears to have been modified to display a more accurate Sleep Score. Of course, the determined quality of sleep does not require the device. The symptoms of poor sleep quality are self-evident.
Stress obviously figures into the equation. However, stress (and anxiety) could be amplified by poor quality of sleep. Conversely, stress could be operating vigorously at the subconscious level and affect sleep. In any case, some kind of sedative or tranquilizer is needed. No OTC countermeasure has displayed any efficacy.
Listening to music in the evening at a lower volume level appears to have a calming affect. Any lingering heart palpitations occurring during the sessions are attenuated. Of course, “testing” the Vienna Sausage probably has the same effect. Baha! Ha! Ha! Haaa!
As far as diet is concerned, the reduction of sodium intake has proven to be a nearly impossible task. So much of what is consumed is saturated with sodium. The daily limit of 1,500mg is almost a ludicrous objective. As an example, one Thomas’® bagel has 330mg of sodium. However, hypertension may be the result of poor quality of sleep and stress.
On a side note, the Beats® Studio Pro was finally formally compared with the AirPods Pro 2 earbuds in an extended listening test under equal conditions (Personal Spatial Audio and Headphone Accommodations disabled). The Studio Pro headphones definitely sound much better.
An eight-pack of Guinness® Stout was procured at Target® for $15 (not on sale) at Target for no particular reason. Well, at least it takes up space in the refrigerator. The freezer is full, by the way. Maybe one cawill be “dropped back” on New Year’s Day.
Well, “Orange Bad Man” has gone unhinged. Commenting on his behavior and policies is nearly impossible since the atrocities are increasing exponentially. The latest foray into insanity is the upcoming Venezuela incursion. The clown finally unmasked himself to reveal a puppet of the Zionist oligarch class. No surprise, eh? Of course, the “Orange Bad Man” has been quite transparent with no attempt to hide the blatant hypocrisy, graft, and brazen corruption within. Just know that flying shoes (amongst other things) await him.
Miscellany: A chat with Hari, one of the gym staff, about the sad state of the public transit system was amusing. Frustration over cancelled or delayed buses was mutual. “But, you’re a man of leisure now,” he added, which served as a reminder that stressing out over the latter is pointless for a retiree with too much time on his hands.
