Instability

Yesterday, the lease for the studio unit at the “old folks home” in Waikiki was renewed for another year. The lease can be terminated at any time with a 30-day notice. Given the precarious situation presented by the “super-duper corona” plan-demic, there are no other viable options. The fact that a nationwide “lockdown” could be mandated next year by the Democrat “empty suit” (once he is installed) only confirms the viability of remaining there.

The State moratorium on rental evictions expired on October 31st. The advice from the State “duffers”? Landlords and tenants should “return to the table” and renegotiate leases. Big help, eh?

So far, the number of new homeless people seems to have increased with patients released from the State psychiatric facility. That will probably change once evictions proceed.
